qualified in 1982 from the University of Sheffield where he studied under the Architect and Urbanist David Gosling. He gained an MA for his dissertation on the relationship between large scale entertainment planning and urban design and was awarded a Carpenter’s Company Scholarship that enables young Architects to work, teach and travel in the USA.

After 10 years wide ranging experience in the UK he established his own practice. Kerrison Stock has an established track record of gaining planning permission for contemporary buildings in sensitive locations such as Conservation Areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has completed projects throughout the UK.

He has worked in the workplace, education, health and residential sectors and at all scales and stages of project. Masterplanning and Urban Design experience includes work on Stockley Park, Heathrow, Atterbury Lakes in Milton Keynes, Cambourne in Cambridgeshire and Hohenschonhausen in Berlin.

Nigel has been a visiting tutor at the Royal College of Art, University of Plymouth, University College Falmouth and Temple University in Philadelphia.
